As OFFICER PROCESSING – COMMISSIONS (M/ F/ D) your main areas of responsibilities are:

 

Collect and track the quarterly trailer fees as agreed to in distribution agreements with the Investment Funds as well as their pay-out to the IFAs and their Pools;

  • Manage monthly cash reconciliation of the trailers fees receivables and pay-outs;
  • Daily tracking of front load retrocession to IFAs;
  • Establish and track overrides;
  • Maintain and track special conditions of IFA’s and Pools;
  • Perform quarterly retrocession of management fees to IFAs (special conditions, VAT management, etc.);
  • Manage retrocession of cash processing fee;
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to keep client data base up-to-date, ensure high quality services and processes in compliance with guidelines, agreements and procedures;
  • Investigate and resolve client inquiries;
  • Prepare ad hoc as well as regular internal and external reports, e.g. monthly commission reports detailing various commission pay-outs to IFAs and/ or pools;
  • Proactively initiate enhancement in processes and perform regular quality control.

 

About you

 

You are a highly motivated person with relevant 2+ years working experience in a similar position, ideally in a middle office in the financial sector:

  • You are a “numbers person”, highly accurate and attentive to detail;
  • You are self-motivated and eager to learn and to help other team members;
  • You are client focused, service-minded and show a dynamic attitude;
  • You are a team player - able to follow through and to work independently;

Process and verify trade transactions while ensuring that internal control documents and external regulatory requirements are met;

  • Manage securities trading, netting, settlement, reconciliation, platform and TA client accounts;
  • Manage asset allocation rebalancing, both in-house and client portfolio products;
  • Conduct in-house fund-of-fund portfolio trading;
  • Quality control;
  • Proactively initiate enhancement in processes;
  • Provide quality services to internal and external clients within agreed timeframes and in accordance with all group standards;
  • Follow up independently with queries raised, escalating to line manager where appropriate;

Your Profile:

 

You are a highly motivated person with 7+ years’ experience in a financial planning, controlling position or equivalent in an international growing and fast-paced environment, ideally in Luxembourg financial services sector:

  • You have a relevant university degree in the field of accounting, business accounting, finance or other relevant fields;
  • You have advanced knowledge of MS Excel; knowledge of software analytical tools will be an asset;

As Fund Relations Manager (M/ F/ D) your main areas of responsibilities are:

  • Build, maintain and proactively develop long-term relationships with fund houses, e.g. presenting Moventum's business model, negotiating the terms under which funds can be distributed, tracking distribution agreements, developing a dedicated marketing tool for fund companies and generating new interest;
  • Assess suitability of funds for Moventum's trading platform by reviewing fund prospectus, liaising with internal stakeholders and considering relevant contractual agreements as well as distribution and trading limitations;
  • Be the main point of contact between fund houses and relevant internal stakeholders on all matters related to the distribution and processing of funds, e.g. providing fund trading information to our Security Database Administration Team for operational setup, liaising with the Commissions Team regarding retrocession rates, resolving operational issues for the Processing Team;
  • Run reports on how well funds are performing for clients, for potential clients to know the fund's risks and objectives, and identify clients and companies that could be valuable clients;

Reporting to the Manager Financial Accounting duties attached to the Financial Accountant (M/ F/ D) role include without being limited to:

  • Assist accounting team with daily tasks and periodic account closing processes
  • General financial tasks of control of transactions and accounting bookings for the company

The work of the Sales team (‘Sales’) focusses on the promotion and sale of Moventum’s services to appropriate clients and the maintenance of the relationship with those clients once acquired, so as to increase and maintain the Company’s revenues whilst ensuring optimum client service levels. As Sales Director for Germany, you will be an additional member of the team concentrating these efforts throughout that country.
